The brothers expanded the business and it prospered for many years until 2001 when it was taken over by a larger company, itself bought out in 2007 by a US conglomerate. WebScammell became sole owner of the company following Faulding's death and in 1876 had a prominent warehouse in King William Street later expanding to James Place which became the front office address.
